30th September 1989 in the unlikely setting of Ruislip workshops London FB open day. I can only assume LFB was thinking of buying this type to replace the Dodge/Renaults.

LFB did buy a few simliar short wheelbase Ecoliners with crew cabs and rescue bodies around 1990 for RTA work, but abandoned this concept shortly afterwards.

I should be interested to know if anyone has the "inside story"?
