Fire Engines Photos

This was my first fire appliance I owned which I bought off John Powell in Highcliffe Dorset/Hampshire Border. It was bought out of service by Croplink a company on a farm used it for watering crops. Later found in a barn on site with flat tyres and looking sad. John use to drive these Hampshire built Bedford Tk in service when he was stationed at New Milton picture 19221. I bought it off John to make way for his new project a 4x2 Green Goddess again John was in the AFS at Christchurch until it disbanded in 1968. HOR 853E was station at Fawley and had only 7000mls on clock when I owned it. Its sister engine is on here as well picture 17539 only two were ever built by Hampshire Workshops at Winnal.
