Atlanta Fire Rescue Striker 10 Piercing Nozzle

Atlanta Fire Rescue Oshkosh Striker 10 unlike the other units has an overhead piercing nozzle along with a bumper nozzle. The bumper nozzle has a max flow rate of 300gpm and the overhead piercing nozzle has a flow rate of 250gpm. The boom is controlled by a joystick and once deployed is used to pierce the fusel lodge of the plane and then using a thermal imaging system can scan the interior of the plane and flow water or chemicals as needed.
