Not a lot of kit left in the lockers, looks like someone had lots of hose cleaning to do after this job !!

Great fire-scene shot - all the hose deployed.

Would the Hose-Reel(Booster Reel) have been used for the initial attack; or for afterwards, cooling down in over-hauling the fire ?

I would guess it was used a first attack as this fire was at quite a remote location and it would have been no good attacking it with a jet until the crew had sourced a water supply hence the attendance of the water carrier (see separate photo). This appliance would have arrived with 400 gallons on board.

Pat, not sure whats on fire here but the hose reel would have probably been used in the initial fire fighting for first attack and the larger delivery hose used as a better water supply is established. And then back to the hose reeel for damping down and turning over just as you have said. Paul.
