Well, what gave this unknown picture straight away was the firemens helmets and the markings on them. This picture shows a 1986 Dennis RS133/HFB WrT that was based at Station B27 Titchfield, and part of the Hampshire Fire Brigade. Sorry,I don't know what branch of Marks and Spencers that is.Pete.

Jacques,Stn B27 Titchfield is just on the outskirts of the City of Southampton. The appliance was maybe on a make-up,or maybe was on standby at one of Southamptons stations and got called to this incident, thats how you got this picture.Pete.

Hi Guys, The Dennis RS Water Tender in the photo was new to St Marys Fire Station in Southampton. The appliance in rear of shot is a the stations Water Tender Ladder XOT981V.The call was at Marks & Spencer at Above Bar Southampton to an AFA.The Appliances are parked to the rear of the premises in Southampton Bus parking area. I know the appliance in the photo ended is life in Driver Training and was on E.Bay for sale near Soythampton. This appliance didn't serve at Titchfield that appliance got exported to America. Hope that helps Dave Boulter
Now i remember, that day in the 80'(87 or 89), the QE2 was returning to Southampon after a long refurbishing in Bremerhaven. This is the purpose why i went to the city. All falls together now. Cheers - JP
