Fire Engines Photos

hello would you have a photo of the following wagon.. OUN 171G.. As I would love to see what it looked liked while in service as I owned this one for a few years Dave Todd..

Remember the fire well! Hearing Flint on Blues & Twos waking me up early hours as a 13yr old & listening there on to the make ups/informatives etc on my clock radio that picked up the old WK! Those were the days! I went to the scene with my Dad (an Instructor at Training School, Rhyl) that morning and spent an hour watching the damping down & the Brigade photographer going about his business - Flint's Simonitor booms up at the back with / Colwyn Bays HP @ the front? Wasn't that a White Watch turn out?

Yes it was a White watch job Simon. The HP was KDM 860K from Deeside though.

Thanks Dusty. I did think it was Deedside's but I saw a photo that appeared not to have the third boom - must just have been the angle the photo was taken made it look like the HP from Colwyn Bay.
