William; good to see a Maxim - one of the great names in USA Fire Apparatus Builders.
In 1914, Maxim built its first fire-engine, for its own home-town of Middleborough, Massachusetts, on the East Coast of the USA.
Over the years, they built a range of quality fire apparatus; both on their own(Custom) chassis and on commercial chassis; also, being noted for their Aerials(TTL's).
Sadly, they folded in 1989; but many of their Fire-Engines still soldier on in service.
