Depending on the year this picture was taken, the Northumberland machine is one of three Sabres delivered in 2006. They were NK06NHB (Morpeth), NK56LFP (Cramlington)NK56LFS (Unallocated). After studying the allocation board just visible in the nearside window, my guess is that its the Morpeth one. (Northumberland have exhibited new machines at this rally before with no identification except the allocation board, subsequent checking found the machine at that named station shown on the rally day)
There is a further Sabre for Northumberland in 2007, but I don't have any details yet.

You've missed a Sabre from that Northumberland order - namely NK56 LFR which went to Blyth.
There are two new Northumberland Sabres presently awaiting coming on the run, these being NK07 NKD & NK07 NKE.

Hi Ian, thanks for that. Do you know of any further new Sabres for Cleveland yet? I made some enquiries earlier in the year to the Brigade, and was told two have been delivered (March 07)but were currently at the builders for fitting out. I haven't seen anything yet to date though.

Hi Chris,
The last two Cleveland ones delivered are NX07 AFK and NX07 AFO, but I understand there may well be two more currently in build.

Hi Ian, thanks for the Cleveland Details, do you know of their allocations?, and do you know a friend of mine, a Mr Ron Henderson of Washington Tyne and Wear? He's a Fire Brigade Historian.

The two "07" registered Cleveland ones have gone to Stranton.
Yes, I do indeed know Ron Henderson, and have done for about 45 years. He often visits, and was here only last week.

hello does anyone know when tyne and wear are going to get some of these new sabre's, we received a few back in 2003-04 but non since then, anyone ??
