Pyrga village Fire trucks - cyprus

This is the Village resources for fire service. It is not connected to Cyprus Fire Service. I did read in the news paper that the government was spreading old trucks to villages around the island like the other photo from Alassa. It is a Land rover with pump and a steel water tank not a old Government unit. The other one is a Bedford truck common around the island as forest fire fighting unit. No building was connected to the trucks however the municipal building is on the other side of the road and some storage containers in the background.

I photographed the Bedford at the EMAK Station in Kofinou in 2007. It was a Reserve Water Carrier at that time.
