Water tenders with oversized tanks were a rarity in the UK. Why would these three bigger capacity tenders turn up in a city like Sheffield in 1953, when many cities were not even buying water tenders - but settling for pumps or dual purpose appliances with only 100 gallons?

And why not a No 3 900 gpm pump on a city machine?
The F 15 had the Rolls B80 160 BHP engine, the same as the F7 and F12...
