This photograph has been provided with the permission of Colin Duncan and I am very grateful to him for allowing it to be shown.

Picture shows Colin's ex Cornwall F8 (UAF 339) and Dennis F44 WPD 239G which originally served with Surrey Fire Brigade (see picture 4308) whilst with the Fire Section of the Kent and East Sussex preserved steam railway.

Interesting the photo was taken after a really busy day where over 12 large track side fires were attended, true justification for a worthwhile private brigade.

I'm doing a bit of research into the Cornwall Dennis F8s. UAF 338 has gone to Italy and UAF 523 was scrapped during restoration. Does Colin still own UAF 339?
