Bedford TK850/HCB-Angus WrT

Bedford TK850/HCB-Angus WrT. Registered on 13th November 1972 and allocated to Conwy, this appliance replaced a Dodge Kew/HCB WrT CCC 16. One of two, MCC949L was allocated to Portmadoc and replaced Bedford S/HCB BJC 361 which was reallocated to Llanberis. MCC950L was photographed around the rear of Bangor on 14th Feburary 1985 looking all folorn here. Notice the Gwynedd crest has been removed to reveal the County of Caernarfonshire crest. The middle locker was stuck so I apologise for not getting the perfect picture. The appliance in the background is LJC 31K. That's to follow.

Apoligies for the typing error. CCC 17 was replaced by the above. Taken in workshops in Bangor at a time when transport managers were helpful and not public phobic about their appliances. The former Gwynedd Fire Service's transport manager was based at Brigade HQ in Caernarfon and was a service DO. Unlike a minority of today's MI5, GCHQ secrative Jobsworths who take offence if you turn up at workshops and get rebuffed.

Great Picture, have you added 'LJC 31K' yet? that used to be based at Pwllheli and my father used to ride on it, we've been searching for a picture of it! could you e-mail/send me a copy?
