I well remember this appliance as it was stationed at British Aerospace Hatfield. I was a Fireman there 1980-86, it was for use on the factory site not for airfield. I don't know when it was new there but I think the site closed in 1992.

I owned this appliance in the early 90`s and bought it from a scrap yard in wantage .it was in quite a state and took almost 3 years to rebuild and kit out with the right equipment but with the help of hawker sidley at hatfield who supplied some original photo`s we rebuilt it. It broke my heart when I had to sell it due to financial problems.We used it for Fire station open days and fetes, Kids loved to ride in it , still miss it now
