This was taken at a time when it carried a portable pump just behind the open crew cab. Many Dennis F17's had a mid-mounted Dennis pump built into the body/chassis. Today I was cutting out a half shaft gasket for it and wondering if there was anybody else in the world at that moment doing the same for a Dennis TL...

I'm glad it's gone to a very good home, well done Barry and Rick. Like Rick I've got some personal history with it and am saddened by my ex- brigades attitude to preservation, hence the sale !!!
