Thanks again Andrew,I did actually attend Crawleys Open Day back in July so have pictures of this 2009 MAN/JDC Water Tender Ladder which is supposed to be allocated to the retained on station.I think its only now that this one and the other allocated to Keymer are finally at last both going on the run. So you really like the new Scania/JDC HrTs,I photographed Crawleys at the Amberley Fire Show back on 4/5th July,2009,and actually I've sent in picture of Worthings sometime ago-I still don't like them.Large cab in front of a tool box with a crane towing on behind. No further comment.

yes Pete, they do look a little odd. Photographed them all. When did Chi loose it's HP?
I think when they got the 2 ALP's in 1998 they sold Horsham's and Chichester's Dennis Delta 2/Dennis/Simon then.I'm sure they both went to Ireland.Worthing's Dennis F127/Saxon/Simon SS263 hydraulic platform(F25OCR)was kept as a spare I think for about a year then was also sold, this I beleave also went to Ireland.WSFB today only have the 2 ALP's,one at Horsham and the other at Worthing.

Many thanks Pete. Thought so. Seen both at Horsham and Worthing.
Yes, just to confirm all 3 ex West Sussex Dennis HPs are still active in Ireland. FPO 23X ex Horsham as recently displayed on this site, TCR 354T ex Chichester is at Newbridge in County Kildare re-registered 79 KE 562, and F25 OCR ex Worthing is with County Meath Fire Service at Navan registered 89 MH 5065. Of the 2 Dennis Delta 2's TCR 354T can be recognised as it has 2 additional strobe flashing blue repeaters on the front grill fitted towards the end of it's service in West Sussex. Jon.

Well spotted Jon(strobe flashing lights),my old eyes these days are not what they used to be.Mind you, nothing seems to be working properly these days now,I suppose its to do with old age. Thanks for confirming all the HP's went to Ireland.Pete.

Has any one got any idea where Crawley's Dennis Rapier will be going once this Man goes on the run at Crawley?
Danny,Crawley's retained Rapier(N139 DPX)is from 1995 and now due to its old age(14 years)very unlikely to be placed operational at another station,it may go as a training vehicle but if on lease, could go soon?.
