Mid Glamorgan FS Range Rover Carmichael RT

Taken at InterFire 1975 Olympia JKG 887N went to this brigade that was absorbed into the South Wales FRS. 6x4 Range Rover conversions by Carmichael were popular and effective for rescue tenders in the 70s and 80s. Marketed as "the Commando". Note the Stemlite telescopic floodlight is extended here.

this rt was based in stn 15 pntypridd before it was replaced with a better one to carry more equipment as a result of improved m4 corridor
