Yes, they all had their plates attached. I went around and photographed all the plates although I probably missed some as many of the F8's were jammed nose to tail.
The other 3 Dennis in the line up are these f28's and are they all intact usable for donners for another restoration project? Are they likey to still be their? Jez
7912rz is an f38 rz 8927 should probably read 6927 and 1105 dz should probably read 1005 dz as no appliances with numbers 8927 and 1105 appear in the fleetlist although having said that at least 3 dennis machines have been left out of it

Well happy to report that the F8 in this picture is safely in my shed, having been saved by me about 12 years ago. I had a lot of work to do on it, but now its 'on the button' and appears at shows regularly. Its even been to The Great Dorset Steam Fair a few times.

Vincent, please post a picture of RZ6927 as it is now. Did you get it directly out of the yard for it must have stood another 8 years there after the above photograph was taken? When we were there we thought that none of them might ever live again.
Hello! I just came across this website to-day and it has brought back many memories! In the early '80s my father rescued a Dennis F12 from that yard in Armagh. We restored it to its former glory and have many photos of it. Unfortunately he sold it many years ago but I always wondered where it ended up. It was an ex Northern Ireland one (I think it was stationed in Holywood). The reg on it was KZ 9649. I notice you seem to know a lot about these "old girls" and would be interested if you have ever came across this "old Friend" The last I heard it ended up in England.
