Hey Chad, I got a question for you. Who's job is it to remove the wheel 'chocks' when you roll out to a job? I note they are on the drivers side of the apparatus.
I have to say full credit goes to the fire fighters who care for the presentation of these trucks, and to make most of us even more happy - they're nearly all RED!!
Thanks for the great pics, mate,, Regards from 'down under,,'

You asked the question who is responsible for
the wheel chocks. The FAO or Fire Apparatus
Operator is responsible for using chocks whenever
the apparatus is outside the bay. Or is on a call.
Or is in pump gear. It is SOP procedures for most
of these departments and if your caught not using
them you will be wrote up by your officer. Could also
be force to take time off. The main reason is insurance.
If the truck began rolling and damaged something the
insurance company could give the department hell for it.
