Brunei used to own a fleet of Reynolds Boughton fire appliance. The fleet consist of 2 Rescue Tender (RT), a Light Pumper (LP) and several Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV).However this appliance was sold to the public in 2002.The last Reynolds in BFRD was the RT2 and sold to the public in 2006.

Until 2002 the C command Berakas FS become a junkyard to store old fire engines including this Rescue Tender (RT).In 2005-2006 with the completion of the A command Beribi FS the junkyard role are taken by it.The FS is the department main workshop.Last year there was a tender by BFRD on purchasing a new RT i'm sure whether SK fire (formerly known as McAlister) or Fabristeel will get it as BFRD is the permanent customer of this two. There are a lot of BFRD former appliances are fabricated by McAlister.

Bomba Boy, McAlister had a few divisions. They also built kitchens etc. Must dig into my files for the history. But the "Fire Division" became SK Fire.

This RT1 was replaced by a Mitsubishi Canter 2.0t with Fabristeel bodywork (callsign RT1). It is painted red and used the new checker striping scheme. Reg no BG404 and based at Berakas FRS Special Squad.
