What does the "ET" stand for please?

Added by David Lampp on 24 September 2009.

Emergency Tender David.......some call it a Rescue Tender, the appliance carries rescue and cutting equipment, extra lighting and generators etc. An ET does not normally carry water or any pumping equipment. In many brigades the duties of ETs have been largely succeeded by multi or duel purpose Rescue Pumps. Hope this helps
