Fire Engines Photos

Well Chris,real strange you putting a picture of this 1990/91 Leyland/Boughton Wrt/L on the site,Why?,because I photographed this appliance where I live afew weeks ago but did'nt have any information about it.Well,although it looks like its just been resprayed(still in the DayGlow orange livery),it now as a white thick stripe across the front and doors and is one of those party hire limo's.At least its one thats gone into preservation,even though I'm against this idea.Mind you,I don't like these Leyland designed appliances anyway.I just had to take that picture though.Pete.

Does anybody know of any leylands like this that might be for sale, other than those that have been ruined by the limo makers.

Each to his own but I think it is very sad to see these noble machines turned into limos. So i will stick to the ones which have not had their crew cabs and tanks ripped out just to have wine coolers and glitter balls installed.

Boughton built 14 of these in 2 batches of 7, In the late 80s and early 90s, all in dayglow orange.
