Bedford Tks Hampshire Fire Brigade

I photoed these pair of Bedfords together at the Gillingham Gathering in 2007.Both have 300 petrol engines. GHO 946K was built by Brigade workshops in Winnal at Winchester. JOW 963P has bodywork by HCB Angus and was stationed at Hayling Island.

Both these Bedfords are beauties ! you can't beat the Bedford / HCB-Angus appliance and this one is a prime example indeed ....

Not knocking the workshop built one either that's a smart machine too !

I would love to own a Hampshire TK. I own a Bedford with Dennis bodywork. My old engine is in Scrap condition.

I think the HFS bodied WrL spent most of its operational life at 43 Lymington and for a while was owned by the retained OiC there.
