Wiltshire Fire brigade Scania

Picture was taken at the Emergency Services Day at Hullavington Airfield, Wiltshire on 13/09/09. It shows the new Scania pump from Wiltshire Fire brigade that will be going to Salisbury. I think they need some bigger mirrors on the doors for the driver! At least they given a nice big target to aim for when your trying to squeeze the appliance down a narrow street or country lane.

Had a good look at one of these at Hull and they do look very cumbersome and on the large side, i guess they cover the mirrors to protect them and save money, if they are heated they will cost a few quid me thinks ....
