I photoed this Austin K2 in 1999 it was in service
with Dorset Fire Brigade and was last stationed at Gillingham.

Anyone got any idea where this engine is now?

Its a 1943, there was evidence of both green and grey paint underneath the red so not sure which service it was in. Was stationed at Poole Dorset then later went to Gillingham Dorset. Was purchased by my Grandfather John Goddard in 1973. Was rallied locally in Dorset up until 1994. Was purchased in about 1995 by Nick Baker of Gillingham and to my knowledge it is still with him.
