FDNY Seagrave Pumper- Engine Co54.

This photograph from May 2002 shows a FDNY spare pumper in use at the quarters of Engine Co54/Ladder Co4 on 782 8th Street in Manhattan.
The apparatus was to remain at these quarters until 2003 when a slightly unusual piece of apparatus was placed in service, this being one of 2,2003 Ferrara(FP03001)1000gpm/500-gallon tank High-Pressure pumpers. The other 2003 Ferrara(FP03002)went to Eng Co 258 at 10-40 47th Avenue in the Borough of Queens.
Note the sign above the apparatus-"ALL GAVE SOME,SOME GAVE ALL".They will all be remembered today, all 403 dedicated rescue workers of the New York City's Emergency Services.
