This units from 1985 and is a Mack/Saulsbury Field Communications Unit and was when new originally designated(MM8501)FCU1.It was replaced in 2001 with a Freightliner/American LaFrance FCU but then went as a spare Field Communications Unit and was still on the FDNY fleet roster in 2005 showing it still as a spare FCU.
