This is the first appliance in the country with Scania / Bronto ARP booms. Once training is complete it will go on the run at Blackness Road in Dundee in early 2010.
This appliance went on the run on Thursday the 11th at station 01 Blackness road Dundee call sign O1-1 with the former 01-1 57 plate Scania now becomming the 2nd away. Its gone off the run at the mo with a minor oil leak.
Perth appears to have there ARP on site for training as it was parked at the rear of the bay that houses the current ALP this morning. I spoke to one of the F/F I know who said that it will go on the run as a day crewed 3rd Pump.
Hi Stuart Tayside have ordered a third chassis with a bigger P400 engine. Blackness roads ARP has been recently off the run again but not in workshops with the 57 plate becomming first again and an older y reg scania deputising as second.
