The base vehicle here is not a Land Rover Series 2 FC, but a Land Rover 109" Series 2A, with a forward chassis extension and bodywork by Carmichael, to produce their model FT6.
I believe known as an L4P if fitted with pump and water tank, or a CrT (Crash Truck) if no tank is fitted.

There was one of these in the livery of 'Kent Fire Brigade' in the Matchbox 1-75 range during the 70's. Anyone remember that?

I have just found my old 1-75 Kent FB Land Rover! I didn't know it dated from the 70s though, I know it was given to me as a kid but as I was not born until 1982 it must have come from a car boot sale or similar.
