According to the Amsterdam FD website, the previous-generation 25 meter TLs were indeed IVECO-MAGIRUS. Some became reserves and others were sold to smaller Dutch and Belgian departments. These all had the same "club of four" cab as Renault, Volvo and DAF in those days. Very easy to confuse the different brands. (Mulheim in Germany actually ran an IVECO-MAGIRUS with a Renault grille, because they could not get a replacement for the IVECO-MAGIRUS badged one after a traffic accident.) Most of Amsterdam's TLs are 24M rather than 30/32M, because of the many narrow streets and the predominance of older buildings, which do not merit having the longer ladders.
I think we were all talking about the previous generation of Amsterdam IVECO TLs. After switching to Atego pumpers in the early 2000s, the city started the changeover to Atego ladders a few years later. Like many European fire services, they run ladders on a longer replacement cycle than their pumpers.
