23/12 articulated top section ladder platform, somewhat different from the straight 32 meter Metz parked next to it.

This design is very handy for accessing the reverse slope on pitched roofs if you cannot get the appliance round to the C side. Also quite useful if you need to stand off because of trees and/or parked vehicles.

Although not quite as good at horizontal reach as an ALP, they are lighter, more maneuverable and a bit less expensive both to buy and to maintain. As a result, aerial ladders with articulated top sections like this are quite a popular alternative choice...
