Locally built 17 ton Cargo with a 220 HP engine - quite popular with fire services in Brazil and also exported to other South American fire services.
The cargo continued in production in Brazil, Venezuela and Turkey long after it was discontinued in Europe. In this photo the unit behind it is a Brazilian VW heavy chassis, also extensively used for a variety of fire service applications, and also locally manufactured. These incorporate MAN components with an older VW light truck cab, considerably narrower than the Cargo's.
