The ladder on this picture is the second version of the DL 30 on W50. This version of the ladder was build since 1987 at the VEB FLG Luckenwalde.
They build from 1987 to 1989 only 20 of this ladders and this one was stationed at Dresden.

I guess it´s no longer on the run in Dresden being replaced by more modern types,the rescue basket is interesting due to gross-weight limits it could only used by 1 FF,(the basket was a compromise due to foreign customers interests for a basket)

I was in Dresden in 2006 and all the former DDR units had been replaced by then, at least at the four Berufsfeuerwehr stations, which are where the city's ladder trucks are kept. There may have been a few IFA LF and/or TLF still stationed at one or more of the eleven Freiwillige Feuerwehr stations, but I did not visit many of them.
