Colmar kept this unusual rig on their roster for 31 years.
Bearing in mind that this is a unit which would only be deployed at really serious fires, I expect that when it was eventually retired it probably still had a relatively few miles under its belt.
Because it is a rare bird, I do hope it has been preserved, like its stablemate the Galion Gugumus ladder truck...
