Fire Engines Photos

Amazing how this old girl lasted almost 30 years in frontline and reserve service yet the Scania / Camiva managed less than 5, quality shows i guess !

Rick: - Do you know if this TL had the Snorkel low profile cab configuration - with the center mounted engine between the two single rear-facing seats - (and no front radiator grille) - or the pump applaince configuration, with the engine between the front seats? It looks like the standard cab, but the low profile version would seem to make sense for a ladder chassis.

The last time I saw this appliance, it was accompanied by an AEC Merryweather TL at the York City fires station. After the Minster fire, York had two TLs for a while, but they later went back to having only one aerial.
