A pair of Northumberland Volvo FL6's J460MCU/Fulton Wylie and M235KTN/Carmichael are seen at Wooler Fire Station on 28.October 2000, during a visit with the Fire Brigade Society. The Northumberland livery is very smart, almost as good as the Cleveland one!

the appliance on the right, J460 MCU, is now used by Northumberland Fire and Rescue's Community Safety Academy for educating the public at displays and events, and for Northumberland Young Firefighters to use.

Two quite different ways of constructing a crew cab on the same chassis nicely illustrated here.

I have to say I think the Carmichael job looks a lot more professional.

Rob, if you look at picture number 1026 you'll find a good example Fulton & Wylie's own crew cab, the one here uses Volvo's standard one which I will agree for the FL6 chassis was a poor effort.
