It was at Newton Aycliffe for a time also....a bit of a disater as I recall...it was over the axle weight. I think it was stripped out after going off the run and used as a runabout from HQ.
I haven't heard about it for years so doubt if it has survived.

I took it to Preston Park that year while it was on the run at S4 Bishop Auckland as the R.A.V. it was a bit back heavy especialy when the rear tray was pulled out with the cutting gear on and if you took the spare wheel off the bonnet the steering was far to light, but it could still go off road but it was a little gutless going up steep inclines .I believe it went to auction and whoever bought it turn it into a flat back , shame it was a one off from Land Rover Specialised Vehicles

No it wasnt turned into a flat back...it was converted into a sort of ambulance.I have a photo...I thought I had posted on here I cannot find it so will dig it out
