Quite a few Austins in service in the Netherlands in the 1950s and 1960s, but only one county fire brigade in native England bought them! Given the ruggedness and good service provided by the AFS/NFS fleet of Austin ATVs, TLs, Heavy Units and Escape Carriers, this seems a bit surprising.
