A classic line-up. The fire appliances of the Essex Fire Museum plus two 'friends' seen on the Grays Fire Station and Essex Fire Museum's joint 'Open Day' on 6th June 2009. Dennis F8, Dennis F38, Merryweather TL, Dennis F28, Dennis F12, all of the EFM Fleet, plus Austin K2 ATV and Dennis F48 Simonitor/Foam Tender.

They certainly don't make them like this now.It certainly is a classic line-up of appliances.

A great picture of days gone by and of real british well built machines all of which have ceased making fire engines. Bet these will last longer than some of the ones today.
