WSF&RS 1997/8 Dennis Dart/LCB Command Unit.
This is Haywards Heaths 1997/8 Dennis Dart bus chassis with bodywork by Leicester Carriage Builders Incident Command Unit.The West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service operated two of these,the first,exactly the same as this one operated out of Bognor Regis fire station,it has now been replaced with a new ICU and is now the brigades Information Unit.
Photographs of Bognor's ICU before and after becoming the Information Unit can be seen under my name on this site.This appliance though still remains operational at this time and was actually photographed at Haywards Heath'Open Day'in 2008.

West Sussex operated 2 Ford Thames ET6/Home Office(Ex-Civil Defence)Control Units dating from 1955 and 1956.The vehicle registered SXF 361 from 1956 was based at Station 17 Chichester, and the other with the registration RYX 156 was based at Station 12 Horsham.
