Horsham Fire station line up

Probably the best photo I've ever taken of fire appliances. In this line up at Horsham's 999 Day is from the right, a Dennis Sabre {Horsham's 2nd Away}, a Scania {Horsham's 1st Away} and a Man {Crawley's 3rd Away}.

Hmmmm what are the fire service comming to in the Uk, this pic, a perfect example, On the right, we have a true fire engine, designed for the job, mid appliance rated as 2nd best appliance after the Dennis, seem to be popular but time will tell, on the left, no comment at all, one word for it JOKE .

Now John! I totally agree of course, but the young fleet managers love these things, as do young firemen. Look, they have got stripes and lights galore! What more do you want? Longevity and reliability? lol!
