The 814 Vario light pumper was a very popular choice for fire services in many countries, especially Belgium and Spain, as well of course as in Germany.

Since its discontinuation, replacements are mainly 9 ton Atego, Sprinter, Iveco Daily and Mitsubishi Canter alternatives.
