Great looking appliance, i like the Scania appliance despite the bad reports on them, but they certainly have a greater presence than the Volvo FL cab and look far more roomy .

So refreshing to see a red painted fire truck, which is not slathered with reflective stripes, chequering or chevrons!

A pity about the unpainted locker shutters - North American and Japanese truck builders all seem to have figured out how to deliver them in red, too, but not Magirus for some reason...

Fire trucks on Scania chassis are increasingly found in places like Germany and France, as well as Scandinavia, the UK, Eastern Europe, Australia, the Middle East and South America. I think one reason is that the available six or ten seat factory crew cabs make the bodybuilders' job much easier than if they have to incorporate their own custom built crew accommodations.
