Nice TL Nick, i prefer this one than the other TL models.I think Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department personel prefer to use Scania because it's cab is comfortable and it's design is nice.Hong Kong FS also prefer to use Scania in their fleet.The HKFSD new Major Pump (MP) is built on Scania P94D chassis and its bodywork is built by SK fire, Singapore.

Cme group has been the major fabricator of tenders for malaysian civil & milltary fire units. They usually use scania & volvo chassis for their tenders - unless client specifies another. See www.cme.com.my for more of tehir tenders.

I forget to tell you, HKFSD Scania Magirus TL-30 look exactly like this.100% same.Maybe Hong Kong are one of CME customer.The Malaysia fire and Singapore fire prefer to use Scania, Brunei fire prefer to use Volvo and Mercedes Atego.Brunei prefer SK fire, Singapore(Rosenbauer subsidiary).

Cme has just been awarded a contract by the malaysia frd to build 200 units of light fire tenders (11 ton category). I believe they will use a mercedes atego or vario chassis. The scania's are considered as medium tenders (18 ton).

Hkfsd had used the mercedes vario chassis for their light pumping appliances (lpa).possibly mfrd will chose the vario chassis for the light pumper.brunei frd owns several ford&isuzu npr light pumper (bodywork by sk fire), which is used for urban&rural firefighting
