Seagrave oldtimer Anaheim Fire department

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Photographed in Melbourne, Australia on 5 April 2009 by Mr John Kirby at an American car show.

The engine was retired in 1998 and now continues its working life as a classic fire truck hire for birthday parties, weddings, hens nights and more.

I have no idea how it got from USofA to Downunder, perhaps Dale Stephens its owner may help us out,,

Pavel, you have captured a classic; and so far from its home.

There were so many around, when I was growing up - in city, and military, fire departments.

I believe, in Canada; they were called Bickle Seagraves, produced in Ontario, by the Canadian licensee - must look them up.
