This is same model as picture 547.
Volvo N1227 Numela 30m Skylift HP, after undergoing service lift extension programme by CME Technologies:
- gear box & hydraulics replaced.
- refurbised cab
- pump & monitor upgraded to be dual water & foam
- rear HP cage rebuilt
- new strobes & lights
Most of these HPsare undergoing this SLEP. This is in lieu of a new tender for HPs due next year.

Nice system of refurbishing those 'old' HPs.I wonder if Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) has this policy.For your info BFRD has several Dennis and Shelvoke Simon Snorkel HPs from the 1980s-1990s era but BFRD prefer to sell it rather than refurbishing it.Possibly the reason is to save aerial appliances maintenance cost.

I would be interested to know the cost of refurbishing and maintaining this compared to buying new ones.
There was a tender to for new HPs 2 years ago - but it was postponed and is going to be re-tendered.
