I cant believe a retained station has a 02 reg 4 series scania when Paisley is currently using two 3 series scanias on M & N reg's. Especially as their ARP is off the run (again).

Buzz, Paisley are mean to have SF07EKJ & SF53YMC so it is likely that both are reserves as older appliances are used as reserves.

Clydebank get a M reg Retro RP scania when there ARP goes off the run

Buz-Oban also has an 02 as their second retained its SG02XLV and is an ex Dumbarton motor.

correct me if am wrong but I do believe SFRS has a good policy in relation to the one I work for ( won't mention names to protect the guilty ) where Retained tend to get relatively new pumps. The older pumps are held as 'spares' and cover when a pump or ARP is at workshops.

There used to be a 02 the same as this based at Clydebank got moved to Balloch

I think the most recent new appliance arrivals 07 and 58 plate batches have been allocated to WT stations and has handed down the 02 appliances to retained stations which in turn has moved various K/M/N/P appliances for reserve, disposal or to training and that has then lead to the disposal of older J/K appliances in those positions.

Hi Al taysides 3rd new pump has gone to Arbroath replacing Scania SP58FRF which has now become a reserve. The 3 new scanias which are getting bodied from E-One i wonder where they will be going? I heard that the new CARP is due at workshops this week? But im afraid i wont be able this week to get down to the workshops to find out.
