Feuerwehr Leipzig Mercedes Ziegler HLFThis one is build by the german manufacturer Ziegler. HLF 20/20 stands for "Hilfeleistungslschfahrzeug" (rescue tender).
The first number stands for the pump performance
(2000 litre per minute) and the second for capacity

The full-time stations house an extensive fleet of special purpose units and command vehicles, as well as several basic firefighting and rescue trucks. The volunteer stations are usually limited to rescue pumpers, pumpers, tankers, a few hose trucks and a small number of aerials. They vary in size, but usually have only one, two, three or four trucks.
Volunteers normally respond to first alarms within their response area, with or without the presence of full-time resources, if it is assessed that they can respond more quickly than a full-time station. Otherwise, they are usually only called out to multiple-alarm incidents or to provide cover at full-time stations which are tied up at other incidents.
Because many of these volunteer companies respond to only two or three calls a month, they often operate some very low mileage trucks which are thirty or more years old!
