this has five sections is it not a 125ft?

The ladder is 104ft long. It was made to fit the small streets of Macclesfield, by being shorter when housed, with an extra extension to make it up to the full 104ft
It has 2 60 gallon water tanks for the hose reel

Leyland made varying length turntable ladders - 5 section 104 footers - short bonnet overhang and 4 section 101 footers - long bonnet overhang were normal then there were 5 section 125 footers Rochdale and Belfast were 2 such vehicles and then of course there was CKH 407 the six section 150 foot ladder for the Hull City Police Fire Brigade which was billed as the 'tallest ladder in the empire' at the time, - it had side extending beams for the stabilizer jacks to be mounted on.

I wonder if anyone can help this gentleman who writes;

I was wondering if you could help me, my grandfather Mr John D Robertson was very involved in the Merseyside fire service and had an engine named after him I think it was a Leyland metz I am trying to trace it to show my son ,any ideas?many thanks
