F843JBB a Volvo Fulton Wylie ET, seen in 1988 at Hadrian Road Fire Station in Wallsend. One of several machines on display there to mark the stations opening.
This one is a particularly interesting machine. It was originally (and for a very short time) registered E346 CVK, and with its "F" prefixed plate, was eventually sold to Essex F&RS for service there.

I Ian, I knew about it's move to Essex, but didn't know about the incorrect registration. Bit like Cleveland's C854UAJ isn't it?
Not quite Chris. T&W often used to have machines delivered and registered just before the year change-over letter, and DVLA (in those days) was quite fussy and insisted on re-registration. You'd be surprised how many times this happened wirth T&W alone.
