Actually, like all of these tandem axle Range Rover conversions with rear mounted pumps and water tanks, this was overloaded.

The conversion used an additional standard Range Rover rear axle, which was inadequate to support the extra weight of its pump, water tank and extra bodywork.

In addition, all this weight pushed up the center of gravity, which - combined with the inadequate suspension, tires and biased weight distribution - created a very unstable chassis with a very high propensity to roll.

The overloading was so bad that one comment on this site by a firefighter who drove one of these mentions that the rear tires wore out at 2, 000 miles!
